Adler

In 1898 the German cycle company Adlerwerke started the licensed production of the American typewriter Empire. In 1899 the company introduced Adler No.7 and in the next ten years 50 000 machines were sold. The Adler typewriters became one of the most popular European typewriters. Orzel is a Klein Adler typewriter produced in 1923.Orzel was a Polish family name and means and means eagle.
