Adler
In 1898 the German cycle company Adlerwerke started the licensed production of the American typewriter Empire. In 1899 the company introduced Adler No.7 and in the next ten years 50 000 machines were sold. The Adler typewriters became one of the most popular European typewriters. Orzel is a Klein Adler typewriter produced in 1923.Orzel was a Polish family name and means and means eagle.

This index typewriter was introduced in 1891. It contains only 35 parts and was marketed in Europe as the Globe or the Champignon. A small understroke American was introduced in 1899 and was sold in Europe as Armstrong.
