Smith Premier

This typewriter was one of the most successful double-keyboard understroke machines to be manufactured in the United States. Smith Premier No.1 was introduced in 1890. Since a large number of Smith Premier typewriters were built, only Smith Premier No.1 with its ornamental nickel-plated panels is valued by collectors.Production ceased in 1913.

Stoewer was constructed by Paul Gutzmann and introduced in 1903. It was manufactured in Stettin by Bernh.Stoewer Ag. This typewriter has a four-bank keyboard and is valued for its design. In 1909 it was awarded two gold medals. Production ceased in 1930.
