This mechanical calculator was introduced in 1907. Only a few thousand machines were made  and production ceased in 1908. Adsumudi  was an adding and subtracting calculator. With a slide  multiplication and division was possible. Adsumudi  is a rare calculators and only five are known to exist. Our Adsumudi with the slide is the only one known.
