The first Facit pin-wheel calculator was made by the firm Alex Wibel in 1918. This type of calculator was called ”snurra” in Swedish. When Wibels firm went bankrupt, Åtvidabers Industrier adopted the Facit name. There are three main types of Facit calculators. The hand-cranked with lever input, model T with keyboard input and the electric model E. Production of Facit calculators ceased in 1977.
